Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the Indian government related to a terrorist attack near the city of Pakhalgam. The corresponding text of the telegram is published on the Kremlin website.

Please send deeply condolences on the occasion of the tragic consequences of a terrorist action in the city of Pakhalgam, victims of peace – citizens of many different countries, the head of the state said.
He called the terrorist attack as a cruel crime with no reason and expressed his hope that all the involved people would suffer a good punishment.
Recalling that two terrorists in the form of camouflage began to randomly shoot tourists climbing on the road in the Baysaran valley.
As a result of the attack, 27 people died, about 20 were injured. Among the deaths and injuries are citizens of different countries.
