Google continues to expand the capabilities of Android Auto and now users can play the game directly on the car screen. However, to turn a trip into a game session, you need to take into account some conditions, the company writes.

Firstly, the games are only available when the car is parked as a security measure for drivers to not be distracted. To launch, the latest version of Android Auto (11.6 or newer) and phones on Android 11 and above are required. The most interesting thing: Only a certain number of games from Google Play are supported, such as Angry Birds Friends or Bubble Woods, optimized for the big screen. This is due to the fact that Android Auto currently uses a car mobile application program, adjusting the car for a car created initially for smartphones or tablets.
Another requirement is the compatibility with “parking mode”. If the game does not comply with strict driving rules to drive, it will be blocked while the car is moving. Settings can be tested in Android automatic menu on the phone: the General General will display whether the game option is included. So far, the list of supported titles is small, but Google promises to expand it in the future.
