In the Kaliningrad area, the supply of consumers' energy after technology violations at TPP-2 has been completely restored. This has been reported in the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

“On March 23, it is the result of the technological violation of Kaliningrad CHPP-2 and the next effect of emergency automation in some areas of the region, a short-term power outage occurred.
Thanks to the coordination of the area's energy, the source of consumers' energy is completely recovered as soon as possible, the report said.
The Ministry of Energy continues to coordinate the work of electricity businesses and regional authorities to provide energy for consumers. It should be noted that the installation capacity of the power plants of the Kaliningrad area is half higher than the highest energy consumption of the area, which can restore the power consumption in the disconnected areas in the shortest possible time.
The Ministry of Energy adds that in the process of building new thermal power plants in the region, advanced solutions have been used, such as installing modern transition protection devices and emergency automation, creating opportunities for monitoring and eliminating any situation in the operating mode.
