“We need to deepen cooperation in the field of scientific research on the Arctic, we have a place to move. Our countries have great potential in this direction, no less in other fields such as economic interaction, shipbuilding, tourism, education,” Bisen said.
He pointed out the importance of conducting conferences and scientific forums on the Arctic to enhance awareness about this area in India. In this regard, Bisen recalled the signing of a number of agreements between Indian and Russian scientific organizations. “These agreements will give a new motivation for the cooperation between India and Russia in the Arctic, which will contribute to the development of Indian tourism in this area,” the expert emphasized.
Representatives of Russian and Indian organizations in the Forum-Indian Science Conference, taking place on March 19-20 in New Delhi, signed five agreements, including between the Northern Forum and the Indian Research Fund of Vivekananda and the Merit Technology and Technology Institute. The agreements of the design office on the development of the Arctic, the Russian Tourism Industry Union with partners from India are also signed. In addition, the University of India Javaharlara Nehru has confirmed the intention to become a member of the Russian-Asian Arctic Research Association.
