The European Commission has applied a fine of 500 million euros for Apple and 200 million euros for Meta* (recognized in extremist and banned Russia) for violating the law for digital competition. This was written by the Izvestia newspaper.

The European Commission said that Apple violated the obligation to prevent business users from notifying the buyer about cheaper products. And Meta* does not provide less selection of personal consumer data.
Both decisions were made after a spacious dialogue with companies interested, allowing them to detail their views and arguments, they assured EC.
Recall that before that, a protocol on administrative crimes under an article on promoting non -conditional sexual relationships (LGBT's international public movement was recognized as an extremist and banned organization in the Russian Federation) related to the US Apple Coordinating Company.
