New Delhi, March 3./ TASS /. Women work in space discipline, crew and make the flight safer. Such an opinion on the previous night of International Women's Day was shown in an interview with Tass Cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev.
Women in space are like women on earth. According to him, women-Cosmonauts “discipline, their presence makes the flight into space safer”.

The first woman Cosmonaut was Valentina Tereshkova. Her flight took place on the Vostok-6 train on June 16, 1963. After that, 78 women from different countries visited the space.
In his career, Artemyev made three space flights – in 2014, 2018 and 2022. The total number of raids was more than 560 days – during this time, he made eight output out of space. In New Delhi, he came to join the NXT global development forum, sharing with his participants about his views on the development of relations between Russia and India in the space industry. On the sidelines of the forum, the Russian astronaut met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, gave him the Russian and Indian flag, who visited the ISS.
Now Artemyev is preparing to fly on the US ship's Dragon ship as part of the Cross -flight program for ISS ROSCOSMOS and NASA. He was assigned to the crew-12, who began to be planned for the first half of the next year.
